Hi,

I'm importing some geometry (solids) from AutoCAD to Revit. I would like to use it in a family definition. But I don't know how to define the line width of the models imported. Moreover, I don't know how to change it's colour material.

I've checked the inserted geometry properties and there's nothing to do with them, and tells me that it's an imported family. If I try to decompose all, I lost all the model. ¿Revit is not able to import AutoCAD models as geometry? What I'm doing wrong

Thanks in advance,

Natxo

I use a lot of models in rendering that are just ACAD solids
you are on the right track puting them into a family
once it is in the family you load it into the project.
Once in the project you can control the material and lineweight by ACAD layer by opening up the Settings> Object Styles and looking at the imported objects page.
