I've been looking around for a post on this topic: if I want to filter out everything except a few specific types (eg: door types A-D), is there any way to get filters to allow your to filter by specifying that the type has to be A OR B OR C OR D? Revit only filters using the AND logic as far as I can see...

Yeah I've wanted that ability so many times. Its not possible from my experience without workarounds. Like added an additional parameter to filter with or using the comments field etc...

As mister spot has stated the only way would be to use something like an integer parameter to control this. The thing is that isn't an OR statement meant to be only 2 elements. To my understanding it is meant to be a statement that literally states one or the other, where as an AND statement says that I would like to be able to choose between these options. Correct me if I'm wrong of course.
