Hi all,
Followed the interesting Keynoting thread. Could not find an answer to this question -
We want to use the keynotes so that the CSI number appears in the tag. We only want the keynotes that appear on any given sheet to appear in the keynote legend that shows up on the sheet.
Our quandry - if we do keynoting by keynote, it fills in the whole list of keynotes used in the project on each sheet. If we do keynoting by sheet, we lose the capability to view it by CSI number on each sheet.
I've tried the muli-category tag, but to my limited thinking, there is no way to filter by sheet. I tried the method of adding the "sheetNo" instance parameter... that was a no-go, unless someone can give me detailed, educated instructions on how to do that.
Any suggestions for getting what we want?
thank you!

Have you tried to edit the keynote schedule and check the filter by sheet box in the filters tab?
Keynote method: by keynote
Show the keynote number in the keynote family
After making alot of 'progress' with they new keynote feature we have reverted to the old Keynote/Note Block until they fix keynotes. We do custom keynotes by sheet and we found that the larger the project was the more cumbersome it was to use the new keynote feature since there was no way to edit on the fly among other issues. However, the new keynotes does have the option to spell check in word, whereas, the old keynotes and any other annotation family CAN NOT be spell checked by Revit.

It is possible to edit the keynotes text file on the fly.
Just click browse for your keynote file and then reselect it. It is reloaded when you do this.

"It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is..." Bill Clinton 8)
It is possible to edit the keynotes, but we probably have a different meaning for 'on the fly'.

In relation to computer technology, "on the fly" describes activities that develop or occur dynamically rather than as the result of something that is statically predefined. http://whatis.techtarget.com/definition/0,,sid9_gci212701,00.html

BTW, thank you for the point out of the filter by sheet option!
Some days, the obvious just eludes me...
