one of my users has a drawing that is pretty complex. from time to time mostly at deadline the drawing will crash when working, (i can see no pattern of commands). when he opens the drawing after the crash it changes most of the layers to something random nearest i can tell. the drawing has several xrefs and they are all located on the network. i am not seeing this on any other drawing. the visretain is set to 1 such that it should retain the layer information from the drawing and even if it were the layers do not match the current state of the other drawings. most peculiar....i have never in all my years seen this one. the only thing different from this cad install is the user uses the qselect program. to my knowledge that should not mess with layers.....
any thoughts.....
