I've had a problem that has popped up recently that makes no sense to me. I have a drawing that I started in Civil Series 2004 that I'm working with in LDD 2005. When I try to plot it nothing happens at the plotter (HP 1050c). It goes through everything on my computer normally as if it prints, but the plotter never receives the drawing and there are no error messages on either the plotter or the printer. It just vanishes in thin air. The preview looks fine. Plotter set up is correct and same as other drawings that print fine. The oddest part is that I can call the drawing up in 2004 and change no print settings and it prints fine. There is an image in the drawing that seems to be the only thing that is constant in the drawings that I have problems with. I can start a brand new drawing, copy the image to it and print it and the same thing happens. I've also notice that other files with images in them do not print in 2005. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What are your OPTIONS set to for
plotting inserted objects?
Is it set to use the application that created
them
Look at the Plotting TAB and see what is chosen for OLE
plot quality.
Also look at the GRAPHICS option for your plot device settings.

I double checked the plotting setting and I don't have the box checked for Use OLE app when plotting and the plot quality is set to auto. These are the same settings that I use in 2004 and they work fine in it. I changed the settings around in 2005 and nothing happens (checked the OLE app box, changed plot quality to image, etc.)

Here is something I got from a friend back in May this year but I have yet to look into it because we have not made the transition yet.
"I just wanted to let you know that there is a known issue plotting to the HP105x series of plotters from the 2005 product line. You can plot fine from paper space but you can't plot from model space. Everything goes through ACAD fine and through the print spool fine but nothing comes off the plotter. I have posted this in the AutoDesk Printing news group. There are some other posts from other people with the same problem."
You might want to check out the mentioned news group and Autodesk's help for a possible solution/patch. I would think this should have been addressed by Autodesk by now.

Thanks, I"ll look into it some more, but I haven't seen any patches on AutoDesk website.
