Does anyone have images of all the pulldown menus for Revit 2008 or know where they could be found?

Just use Snagit. It will capture the menus in the down position

Haven't come across one. I was searching for one before too.

AutoDesk use to have them in the AutoCAD documentation years ago for AutoCAD.

Will SnagIt grab the cascading ones also?

You don't actually need a screengrabber.

Pull down the menu in Revit and then hit the Prt Sc (print screen) key on the keyboard - next to scroll lock usually.

This copies the active window to the clipboard - you can then open Photoshop or any other bitmap editor, open a document and paste the screenshot into it.

I see there is a comparison of snagit to Prt Scrn key here:

Yes the print will sometimes work with the menus pulled down. Snagit will always work and it costs very little. Boy do I sound like an ad. Plus it has a demo time where it is functional. Bur really it is a great tool and will save more time than the minimal cost

Snagit is a great program, I use it about once a week to create how-to's for people that don't know how to do certain things inside programs and I'll use it to document the screens so they know they are following my steps properly.

never heard of Snagit until this thread - I've always used HypersnapDX...

but Snagit looks good - thanks for the tip.

Hey there,
I have always used Printkey 2000 to get screen captures, and, it is free. Is Snag it better?
Thanks
