I'm currently in the process of changing the way our company does leaders and text. we are going from curved leaders to straight and we are going to start using mtext as well. My question is:
Is there a way to preset the qleader settings. I.E. I want a standard width on my mtext.
I cannot find a way to use qleader with the command prompt only. Any ideas?

Hi

Search (http://forums.augi.com/search.php?) and one shall find -

QLEADER SETTINGS (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=5248&highlight=QLeader)

Have a good one, Mike

That helps alot. But I cannot get the width to preset to 144.
(acet-ql-set '((69 . 1)(63 . 1)(40 . 144)(61 . 0)))
Any ideas?

Hi

The below information is kindly supplied by Robert Bell -

<snip>
If you use "Always Left Justify" the "Default Text Width" is ignored.
(acet-ql-set '((69 . 0) (63 . 1) (68 . 1) (40 . 144.0)))
</snip>

I have posted here, as I've now *deleted* your second post (thread) "Setting qleader defaults" that was asking exactly the same question.

Thanks, Mike
