Blocks in table not shown

Hi there,

I have a table and I have inserted some blocks in the cells.
After some editing I done, merge cells, delete blocks, insert new blocks etc,
I found out that even I have deleted all the blocks from the table and purged the file,
some blocks were in the file even though these were not shown in the table.
I have 'unmerged some cells' and then some blocks were shown up !
I delete those. But now I have a table with nothing in it but there are still blocks in dwg !

Has anyone faced such a situation before ?
