unreferenced layers.

since switching from autocad 2007 to 2008, every time i open up a drawing a message telling me i have unreferenced layers pops up, also when i goto print. ive tried purging and auditing but this wont get rid of them. what can i do?

Perhaps you mean "unreconciled layers"? Do a search for that and you will find a couple threads about the subject. One has links to some blog entries that explain it fairly well.
