View Full Version : Can you see the dimension in this 3D view?

Well, that's what I see in the attached family file -- a dimension in a 3D view.
What am I doing wrong?

it is because it is selcted in your visibility graphics.
Long way - type VV (not w) and uncheck Dimensions in the Annotation Categories tab.
Shortcut - select the dimension in the view and type VH

VV did the job.
However, selecting the dimension and hitting VH didn't work. Maybe because only ONE of the dimensions in the model shows up.

BTW, what is VH? Help doesn't include this shortcut, neither does the menu (i think).

looks like it does not work in family files. Try it in a project view when you want to hide something.
VH Hides the category in that view.
Look in View menu > hide In view > category

Yeah, it was there. And grayed in the family file.
