Using master-slave troffer lighting fixtures is very common, especially in CA. For example when you show two 3 lamp light fixtures, the branch circuit connects only to the master fixture, which contains a 4 lamp ballast and a two lamp ballast. Then the slave fixture connects to the master fixture.
We need the ability to show this type of wiring, otherwise we have to 'fake' it and we loose the productivity gain of the auto wiring...
