I'm not currently using any third party software, but we did use Eagle Point a few years ago. All of my drawings have at least 4-5 regapps in them. I've purged until I saw that there were none, then I saved & closed the drawing. Upon opening it again, the regapps were back.

Deleting registered application "ACAD_DSTYLE_DIM_EXT1_LINETYPE".
Deleting registered application "ACAD_DSTYLE_DIM_EXT2_LINETYPE".
Deleting registered application "ACAD_DSTYLE_DIM_LINETYPE".
Deleting registered application "ACAD_EXEMPT_FROM_CAD_STANDARDS".
4 registered applications deleted.
I'm not sure what these are or how much harm it will do to leave them. Our IT dept was complaining that the CAD drawings are taking up too much space on the server and I figured this was one small thing I could do to make sure my files are as small as possible.

Those 4 regapps are not going to increase the size of the drawing. I wouldn't worry about those.

It's the drawings with 80,000 of them that are bloated, and EP is known for creating thousands of them, and they are propagated with xrefs, etc. So just because you delete them once doesn't mean they won't return.

Those particular regapps are created by autocad itself - don't worry about them.

I figured they were probably something like that. Thanks for the reply.
