Good morning,
I am experiencing difficulties with my linked files on several jobs when I try to copy them to a different location. In one case I went to give a demo of a project at our Revit User's meeting. I copied my Revit file and Autocad linked files onto a CD, but when I opened the file on the CD Revit said it could not locate the links. Worse than that when I re-pathed the links they were out of postion, and had to be re-done.
Then another time I e-mailed the file to a colleague who experienced the same problem. I I have also had seveal occasions where the linked files were lost with the Revit file still in its original location.
I have tinkered with the relative or absolute pathing options but it did not seem to help.
Is this a Revit glitch or am I doing something wrong? Has anyone else experienced this problem?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, and have a great day.
