Colour scheme in section?

Can colour schemes be applied in section? We're doing schematic design for a renovation and are using colours to denote the usual tenant, circuation, building areas in plan, but I cannot find a way to apply them to the section. Is this possible somehow?

I don't think you can insert the color Scheme in a section view. You can insert a room tag in this section. It might be helpful.

You can't do it using the color fill tools but there are a number of workarounds.

Use filled regions with the background set to transparent
Use masses with different material assigned to theme. Bonus benefit is that it also works in 3D. It might change the way you present to clients. Check out this old thread for a nifty method . http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=11790
