Is it possible to use a field as the layout tab name? I would like to reference the Sheet Set Number and make it the layout tab name.
Thank you.

Any script or lisp to do so?
I would think that there would be something out there.
I cannot be the first to think of using fields as the layout tab name.
Thanks

This would be good. I have looked at this in the past and found no way of getting my TitleBlock Drawing number (attribute) inserted in the Layout Tab name
There will be a way with the 'expected layout' attribute from the sheet set properties, but i dont know, yet
Let us know how you get on.
Cheers

There is a way to do this. Simply create a field, referenced to the System Variable "ctab".

You could always just go through and rename/renumber them from the SSM dialog, since that option is in there. At least then you don't need to open each one.
