Door and Frame Demolition

I want to demo a door and install new its exact place on the wall. It gives me an error that an instance is already in its place....I need help with a walk around

Are you using phases? If you've demolished a door in an earlier phase and placed a new door in a subsequent phase I think the wall will receive the new door.
