Project Number

I open a drawing, it has project number 1206-2. I open another drawing in the same acad session, the project number changes to that drawing (1089-1). so far so good. But then when i switch back to the first drawing, the project number does not change, it stays at 1089-1. Obviously you can see the problems it will cause. How do you fix it?

I'm using Autodesk Land Desktop 2007. This help?Yep, that's somethign specific to LDT, you might want to post this over in the LDT forum, or, if there's a mod available, they can move it for you.

Although it is now possible (2007 and later) to open multiple drawings in LDT I strongly discourage it. And never open more than one drawing from multiple projects.

There is no fix for this. I recommend always using the Project Based Open (AECOPEN) command in LDT that will stop you from opeing more than one drawing at a time.

That stinks. not the answer i was looking for but...Thank you anyway.
