Multiple Annotations for one Note Block

Is it possible to create a Note Block using the fields from multiple generic annotations? I am using a Note Block in order to create an Interior Finish Legend. In the generic annotations, I created text parameters for the tag which allows for manufacturer info, color, etc. This works well, but we use two different kinds of tags for finishes... one for elevations and one for the floor. I need a Note Block that would be able to apply the text parameters of both of these annotations to get all of the finishes in the project on the same legend. Any ideas?

It is my understanding that note blocks can only be associated with one symbol at a time. The information in the note block is fed from the parameters of the individual symbols. Even if you have two symbols with the same parameter, the note block will only refer to the information in the associated symbol.
