Space saving stairs

Does anyone know where I might find a space saving staircase (paddle tread, alternate tread etc).

To buy or to model, Toby? I think if you want to model it you will need to do it as a special railing baluster.

Just a thought but you could try modelling 2 half stairs. Each stair would have alternate treads at the required pitch.I think Peters solution may be more flexible since you could also and the vertical baluster. There's a very quick attempt at a model done my way here
