Hello Everyone !
I’m new on this forum so please excuse me if I’m posting a problem that already has been solved a 100 times before…
I’ve been trying to learn Revit for about 2 weeks now and I must say it’s really great… but I have had a problem making a very simple geometry and I just can’t find a way.
Here is the problem :
I want to create a roof composed of triangle faces. Those triangle all have different slopes but they share edges… I don’t know if that’s very clear but just take a look at the image and you will understand what I am trying to do.
Making this with sloped floors seems impossible to me (but maybe someone will know). Because it is impossible to get the different floors to share sloped edges.
I also tried making a sloped beam system. Which was perfect but then I couldn’t find a way to put a roof or a floor on top of it.
Then I tried roof but I really ended up with odd results.
I made an example in Max to show you… it’s really a shame not to be able to place max geometry as mass in Revit… then solving this kind of problem would take a few seconds…
Thanks for your help.
