I have a question about the scale command:

I have a sketch that is too big in proportion to its actual size. In AutoCAD you can scale a whole part by using the ref feature and then entering the desired measurement. It looks like the Scale command in Inventor works in a similar way. Can I use it to enter the desired size based on a referenced measurement?

The scale command in the sketch mode will allow you to scale whatever portion of the sketch that you want to scale. You can scale by precise input (scaling factor) or by moving the base point. If you scale a sketch that has other geometry constrainted to it or it has a dimension then you will need to relax the constraints. This may affect a part with other features created after the feature in question.
