I was asked to print out some check sets of some preliminary drawings from Revit. The results where nothing less than embarrassing. I use an HP 1220 Deskjet to print 11X17 checksets. I found I had virtually no control over what I was printing. Off center, scale ????,etc. What is the problem?

Dick,
Hate to ask the obvious question but...
Were the drawings set up on sheets?
If not, I would tend to agree that Revit has some quirks for just printing a certain area of a view. Other than that one minor shortcoming I find the way Revit prints far easier to manage and deal with than ACAD.
Even if you don't have title blocks set up I would suggest creating a blank, border only sheet family that you can use to set up your plots. Later in the project you can always substitute the family for the real title block.

Dimitri:
Yes it was the obvious - old habits die hard - still want to plot like Autocad.
