general question sweeps being cut by windows

i increased the size (vertical heigth) of a masonry watertable at the base of my building....the top of the watertable is about half way up the windows......the windows cut the additional sweep ( the sweep for the watertable was a profile added on top of the exterior brick on the wall )

how can i add a sweep to the outside of a wall and not have the windows cut it?

I would create the sweep and select the option "Not cut by opening"

As previously stated.... selecting the "not cut by opening" will take of what you are asking about.
