Anybody help me to solve the problem that I got from transfering model from Revit structure(build 20070810_1700) to Etabs 9.1.5 by using CSIxRevit (latest one). The error like this" attempted to read or write protected memory, this is often an indication that other memory is corrupt".
Thank you so much,
Best regard,

Dear Phat,

In the last couple of days, CSI has already informed our RST Product Team that several customers have already reported this issue to them.

Me too, I am able to reproduce this issue on my machine and I have already reported this problem to our Revit Development team. Several of our developers are currently investigating and working on this issue.

Once I get any comments from our development, I will let everyone know, so stay tune.

Best Regards,

We had to troubleshoot the issue a week or two ago and found that the error could be avoided if walls and floors were not exported. I believe openings in floors created by shafts could be the root cause.

Actually, There will be such kind of error if transfering a whole big Model, That is fine if we divide mode into some parts and transferring each of part. Then, we will combine them in Etabs with an condition that all parts have same property profiles ( material and section). Moreover, I tried to transfer a small model including all kinds of members ( wall, floor, opening...) that is ok, except for the case of transfering only grids, the error in etabs will be appears . I've withdrawn so many errors that I got from transfering a project of my company ( 80 storeys). if anyone need it, please contact me : nvphatbk@yahoo.com

This bug has now been fixed in the most recent release of CSIxRevit2008 which was released today 9/14/2007. You will need to download and install the new CSIxRevit2008 as well as ETABS 9.1.6 which was made also recently made available.
