I am wondering if anyone else has come across the following issue with importing and exporting CAD formats.
I am working with a client that has run into a situation with 2 end-users of a team of 5, that can no longer import and/or export AutoCAD drawings with Revit 2008. The remaining team members and all other staff (approx. 60 users) are not having the same problem at this point but this started with 1 end user and now has occured with a second end user. Both users are working on the same project. They are running Revit Architecuture 2008 build 20070607_1700 on Windows XP Pro, which was installed from a deployment image. If they work on another machine, it works fine but if we log on the same machine as another user (administrator), the same issue of import/export occurs. All other import and export funcutions work fine. We have installed the latest build of Revit 2008 (20070810_1700) on one of the users machine which resolves the issue and I would assume that installing the previous build would also resolve the issue as it seems some files have become corrupt. However, we are trying to understand why this happened and how to avoid for all other users.
