Splitting Surface Pattern

Did Revit not have the capability of splitting a surface pattern (i.e. poche only the edges of an elevation)? I can't seem to find it. Was it dropped?

No, it is there! On your toolbar, look for the "tape measure" then the "match" then "linework" then "paint" then "SPLIT FACE" just before the "edit cut profile".
