View Full Version : Dimensioning a reveal
I have placed a reveal in a wall and wish to dimension to it so I can move it up or down. I can dimension to the edge of the reveal but this is just a reference dimension and doesn't allow manipulation of the reveal. I tab like a demon and still cannot get a proper dimension. Any tips here?

I can dimension to the top or the bottom of a reveal and move it using a dimension.
Can you post a sample ?
Here is a sample
edit: I guess the file didn't upload.

Here's the version with a dim that works. I snapped to the reveal by moving to the right side of it.
I'm not sure what moving to the right side means, but I still can't duplicate your dimension. Any dimension I create has no affect on the reveal. Weird

Hope this will help
Thanks Daniel! Why on earth the reveal is not dimensionable in elevation is beyond me. I think it should be logged as a bug, since you should be able to tab to select the reveal.
Much appreciated!
Joe
