Wall Tags

I'd like to create the diamond shape wall tag with a tail on it that looks similiar to the end of a section tail that goes through the thickness of the wall. I'm thinking my answer is probably no because the tail is an arrowhead which is a system family. Any ideas?

I've found the problem with this approach to be accounting for different wall thicknesses in a given project.
