OK so I know I should have been on ADT 2005 by now. I have some guys that DO NOT even like the furniture rearranged much less their computers and software.
I have got to get my 2002 (Told you they don't like change and 2004 blew their mind) customization over.

Any REALLY good ideas how to get my custom wall styles, templates, layer settings etc. over.
My menus made it with the migration. I did find out that the highly tauted migration tool does not work with ADT.

I am tired of reading documentation over and over - I just want you all to give me the quick fix method.

OK - so now I have a template over there for every time I to a QNew.
I am getting somewhere.

I tried a wall from the tool palette and it went to our custom wall layer.

I must be stumbling in the right direction.

NOW - do I have to draw each wall style that we have and port it over to the tool palette by dragging it individually?

What about my custom hatch patterns? custom fonts? custom linetypes? tell me it isn't as hard as it was in 2004. That is why this office fought me on 2004 last year!!!

Come on guys - don't make me answer all my own questions here. Someone jump in anytime!

Call John Janzen and get a copy of his Cadmanager tool for ADT.

Create a new palette named as Custom Palette. Open 'Design center' and locate the old template file from which you wish to transfer all the styles, hatch pat terns etc. Drag and drop the file on to the palette and you will get all the styles added to this common palette. You can always move the styles to other palettes if needed. Try if it works....

Do you remember me....Xavier G Papuraj trying to remove the 5 digit number from my user name?!?!?1
