Description: Create Parcels based on Building envelopes and setback requirements.

How Used: All residential developments in my region require lot sizes based on minimum square footage and minimum bulding setbacks. I would like the ability to create lots based on predefined building envelopes and setbacks.

The ability to measure the lot width at the setback line (user specified distance from R.O.W) would be a big help. Almost all of our projects require the minimum lot widths be measured across the lot at the setback. This requirement sometimes comes from the developer and sometimes from the reviewing agency.

I don't know of any LGU in our area that does not require the lot width to be measured from the setback line rather than the right of way line. This is a tool I have wished for since the first time I saw Civil 3D at AU in 2004.
