When you are in a Drafting View how can you import you work into that page so you dont have to completely have to redraw the structure.?

use a detail callout instead of a drafting view

According to my reseller's resident Reviteer, the only way at the moment is to export your section -- for example -- as a .dxf/dwg/dgn and re-import same to your drafting view. Seems like a silly round-a-bout requirement but it works.

File>>export>>.dwg (ie.)

I would definately use a callout. as a rule of thumb the more you can actually ref. the model and detail over it, the more accurate your cdset will be, drafting views give no feedback. I use them for stock details only. it may take slightly more time(I copy detail components from stock details and paste them over the model geometry as needed) but this way if I change something, I know it in the detail.

A trick is to open up all the detail components and add solid white filled regions as needed so they will actually hide the model geometry, this lets you utilize more of the model.
