SECTION DOES NOT DISPLAY IN PLAN VIEW

I have created a section view cut through a site plan, the section cut line on the plan will not display, sections are on in visibility settings and as far as I know I have not selected the section to Hide in current view, there is no indication when moving the cursor over the plan that it is hidden, I have expanded the viewport so it is not outside the window, any idea why this section won't show up?

Check the view properties of the section it is probably set to not be visible in views smaller than a certain scale, just change that to whatever scale you siteplan is.
