Yes, It'll sweep along any 2d path you create, either by picking an edge of the curtain wall, then dragging each end to where you want them, or you can just sketch it to the extents you need.

You're right. Now that I look, I don't think it's possible. Stick with the in-place family sweep.

Could someone take a look at the attached Curtainwall and apply the "coping" profile sweet to the top of the curtainwall... I cant figure it out and i am probably going about it the wrong way...

Both the Test.rvt file and the Coping.rfa file are attached.

Thanks,
Rodney

Yes... That is what i was looking for... could you give a quick 1, 2, 3, steps on how you applied that to the curtainwall.

Thanks again.

Using your 3d view, (also noting that this is an arched wall)

Use Model - Create Inplace Family - Soild - Sweep
Select Create Path, use Line - Arc
Snapend to top of Storefront in 3d View, each end, then mid point to set arch to match
arc of Storefront. Finish path
Select Sweep Profile, use loaded profile
Finish Sweep - If it is reversed ( as mine was) - Edit sweep, select profile, edit and rotate 180.
If you can't follow - email me - I 'll create a word doc with screen shots to help (later- kindda full up this morning)...
