Elevation Study Options: Shaded/ Color Best Practices?

I'm working on a 3 Story Hotel-Retreat project and we are in the DD phase. We want to present several color-shaded options. Is Design Options the best way to go in this case or should I do some other method? Anybody have any experience in presenting multiple elevation options. It seems the only thing that will be changing is the color so I'm concerned about the amount of time I will be spending on setting up options just to change the colors. I just want to make sure before I head down this road. I'm working on a 4-5 day schedule starting now.

Design options will work but you can probably accomplish what you want with filters and/or graphic overrides.
Depending on the complexity of the changes you need you can duplicate elevation views and apply overrides to individual elements or object categories.
Filters are probably the better bet since you can save those settings in a view template and apply them to other views.
