Any DWG loaded ? Scope box maybe ? Check the annotation crop region.

hmmm. not sure. i removed all autocad imports from that view - though i didn't necessarily delete them - but could they still be a problem? it's definately not the annotation crop - how do i find the scope box?
thx -

If it is a scope box, turn on the category under annotation categories. In general, go to VG and turn on everything. Then, see if anything is showing up outside the bounds. Usually it is some annotation or import that is included in the crop region so it shows its full extents.

Hey there,
If you are in RAC 2008, try turning on your Annotation Crop Box and adjusting it to see if it gets rid of the offending element. The other items that I have seen that causes this are Levels and Grids. Sometimes, they just get *wacky!

thanks for the thread. so - after having read all the posts - applied them with no results - it seems this is a bug that autodesk is looking into.?

Curtain walls used to do funny things like that, do you have one in this project?

Do you have any ref planes that extend way beyond the model? I have had this happen on occassion with long ref planes even when they were turned off in the view.

so yes - curtains are being used (&) ref planes.. it's a 20 level building. i'm starting to think the curtain wall system has something to do w/ it..
if so - is this something i just deal w/? it's not that obstructing - i just can't help but to think that revit is better ten that! : )

If you want to find out if its the curtain walls, select one and type VH to remove it from the view. If your extents return to normal, thats your problem.
