I have a project with a number of connecting roadways. Road A winds through the development with Roads B,C, D and E intersecting it and forming a T intersection. Is there a way that to have the program set the starting elevation of the profile of Roads B,C, D, and E based on the elevation of Road A? And, is there a way to have the elevations of Roads B,C, D, and E automatically update if I manually adjust or modify the profile for Road A?

Thanks for your help!

Hi Mark,
This is one of the wishes that have been submitted for review as part of intersection design. Unfortunately, you have to do this manually to update an alignment at an intersection.
Make sure to cast your vote on which wishes you want to see submitted to AutoDESK in Nov. We will be sending them our top ten wishes and they are listening to what we, the users, are requesting!

Really good question! I'd like to know this one too.

Mark answered it - the feature is not yet supported, but it has been requested many times. It's something that other programs such as Carlson RoadNet do with ease, so lots of people have been looking for it and are surprised to discover Civil-3D can't do it...

That's good to know... I'll quit looking for it...lol... at least in Civil3D until they tell me it's a new and improved feature. Thanks Sinc!
