I have created a wall partition that has a cove profile for the clean rooms.
I do not want to see them in plan, but I still want see them in elevation.

Besides changing the view cut plane, is there a way to override profiles?

Thanks

Can you hide it with the linework tool?

Suggestion: use in-place or wall-hosted sweeps, then turn off wall sweeps in view..

I do not think you can hide/turn off the profile/sweeps once it is "built-in to the wall."structure.

cheers.....

I don't follow...
I have (3) floors where this occurs. I'm looking to make the change "globally".

I thought wall hosted sweeps were for exterior walls.
I have more than a few rooms that will be affected.

BTW: I am currently using Revit 9.1

This approach will work for you if you created them a host sweeps. But if you placed the sweeps as part of the wall type then you have to redo them to get this option to work.
Or Use the linework tool and make them invisible lines. Which will be more time consuming, is the question?

Someone got a better way?

By the way, upgrade to 2008 it is well worth it.

S Radley,

Nope. Wall-hosted sweeps can be for interior walls, too.
Same functionality in 9.1 and 2008, I believe?

(P.S. Are you related to Bob Radley--my fellow worker here in St. Louis?)

cheers.....

Sorry, No relation (to my knowledge) to Bob... or is it Boo? ;)
Anyway, It's always interesting to hear that there are other Radleys around.

We're eventually ramping up to Revit 2008.
As soon as our M/E/P guys get trained, it will be rolled out company wide.

Thanks,
Scott
