View Full Version : Things that are painfully slow in Revit

They wanted to know so here are my slowest of the slow:

1. Copying "Plan Regions" or reshaping, it's easier to create new ones instead.

2. Adding manual curtainwall grids to a window because Revit will not accept more than one vert. or horiz. mullion. in any given type. So slow, it takes 30 seconds to regen and 30 more for each mullion string. This really sucks!

3. Editing large site plan topo points 15-20 secs per point! At least they're not as slow as curtainwall man. grids.

I linked my 93 Meg file into another & now I'm trying to Bind it.

Been 3 1/2 hours so far. My poor little CPU has been maxed - but it does work eventually
