Hi, I'm very new in this forum. I'm from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, so please excuse my english.

I would like to know if there's any software (or anything else) that can take file from a scanner and convert it to a CLEAN dwg. I have a big market that was once hand-draw and now I have to put in on CAD.

I'm waiting for your answers

Thanx

Either of these solutions will give you varying degrees
of a 'clean' drawing. Although neither will be perfect.
Hitachi - Image Scan tools
AutoDesk's - Raster Design.
Or even open in newest version of Photoshop and export it as DXF,
I've heard that Photoshop will do this.

Hey MJ,

I saw that you said that photoshop might export to dxf... When I say this I quickly went to check cause that would be awesome but I have not found an option for that.. Is there any way you can find out (from whom said you could do this) how to do this.

I have the new Photoshop CS, It would be great if you can export to dxf...

Thanks for looking in to this.

I may have been using the wrong file types.
The process I saw was to open in photoshop
and print to HPGL and then convert that file to DWG
using an Express tool.
