Hi,

Can you access SSM without Autocad? I'd like to have a secretary update some minor items.

Thanks

I think the OP means have the admin update some SSM items.

This would be sweet if you could do it, but I don't see how unless Autodesk publishes the binary format of the .dst files - or someone hacks it. Even then, someone would have to write an editor.

Seems like a neat project for Autodesk instead of the CommandComplete (http://labs.autodesk.com/utilities/CommandComplete/) tool

If you have access to network licenses of AutoCAD, maybe the admin could be trained on how to open a SS and edit it, without monkeying with the DWG files....

Or even an API so it can be hooked up to a database/Excel/XML file through a user provided interface. That really gets the mental juices flowing...
