ceiling tags using different level to report height

my ceiling tags report the height of the ceiling from the level the floor plan view was made in. i have several different levels of slabs in this view. can i get the ceiling tag to report from the slab level the ceiling is in rather than the level the view is made from. thank you for any help.

I think if you go into element properties you can pick different levels to place the tags from. Not 100% postive though, I just know most other things let you pick the level to place it on.
