In plotting a drawing from AutoCAD 2004 on a 30" roll when I try to plot in 1:1 scale it isn't quite correct.

My measurements from top to bottom are correct (1":1') but the measurements left to right are incorrect ususally off +/- 1/16" to 1/4".

Any ideas?

Has (or can) the plotter be recalibrated?
What brand/model is it?

do you have the timestamp on. this does affect the left and right. adjust the margins to compensate.

I have the same issue. I think I am only capable within 1/16.
It is good enough for my daily musings.

It's an Oce 9600 and we don't use plot stamps.

By tweeking the custom settings I got the one project within +/- 1/16th but I'm really not too warm and fuzzy about it.

Being the new Cad Manager I'm holding off reseting the plotter to factory settings as a last resort being that there are 10 years of standards/titles etc. I'm still reviewing and I didn't want to create a new can o'worms yet if ya know what I mean.

Any other ideas?

Do you own it or lease it? If the latter, I would be calling Oce out and don't let them leave until it's fixed :)

No such luck.... out of contract. It's an older P.O.S.
