Summary: Add the truss maker found in Revit Structure to Revit Architecture.
Description: I wish it was easier to make wood trusses in Revit Architecture
How Used: I would like the Revit Structure truss maker to be added to Revit Architecture

Bringing this into Revit Architecture would be good for Rendering etc. It would still cause Revit Structure to recreate the truss to get the appropriate analysis tools into the truss members. That aspect cannot, and should not be brought into Architecture.

I like the idea of different specialisms and different Revit-versions. Just being able to use Revit Architecture doesn't make you an architect. Same goes for Revit Structure and Revit MEP - it's different specialisms and I don't think it should be mixed up too much.
If you just want to make a rendering of an existing truss, generic models will pretty much do the job for you. That's my $0.02 for today.

The point is to make creating trusses more user friendly to us architects.and by modelling the trusses convey the design intent. If I were an engineer I would swap them for my own anyway.
A similar concept however could aply to windows and doors. Enter window maker.

Yes PLEASE!
I get the idea, and I mildly agree. If the engineer could just analyze and improve your truss, that would indeed shorten design span and improve project quality.
