plot cuts off

I am trying to plot a drawing in AutoCAD 2005 on my oce 7300 plotter and I am using window and a large sheet to plot it on. the drawing is 36 by 50 and I have gone as high as a 36x70 plot sheet and it still cuts part of it off even though it shows it all in print preview.
I have also tried to plot to limits and extents and still it cuts it off. The drawing is a 2D drawing and I am plotting out of paper space.

There is information there that relates to plots being cut short.

Is the Plotter set-up using a Windows Driver or an AutoCAD Heidi Driver?

Is the Plotter Firmware up to date? (we had to go down that road to resolve an number of issues/problems with our Oce Plotters).
