How can I move a hatch?

You can also use the align tool to align the hatch (surface/cut pattern) with another element such as a window sill.

In order to use the align, move and rotate tools on the individual lines in a surface pattern, the pattern must be defined as a 'model' pattern, not a drafting pattern. You can then select an individual line segment and perform these operations.
