Loosing linked RVT only?

We are starting to see a problem with the linked Structural model on one project. Often the links will just unload, and occasionally they will just totally vanish. This is a recent thing, just in the last week. We upgraded to the 0810 build perhaps three weeks ago, so I don't think it is that. I have not verified yet which build the Structural folks are using, but I have never seen a problem with Structural or MEP being on a different build for a while. And my understanding is it is just everyone connected via worksharing that needs to be on the same build. The linked file doesn't really know what build made it or last accessed it. Is this correct?
Anyway, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am completely stumped.

After linking the file try to change the saved path type (in the Links Manager) from relative to absolute. Using the relative option (which I think is the default) can cause problems, especially if you use mapped drives.
