Well, what does one do when i try and lodge a support request and the support request comes up with an error stating my software has an invalid registration number! That is, even when the software itself states under licensing that it is registered and the respective serial number... So forget my issue i was trying to fix, but the software support even fails! VERY FRUSTRATING...

I can sympathize with you. I recently tried to submit a support request on a computer that has Revit but isn't using my license and I couldn't submit one either, Autodesk wanted me to switch my contract number and when I provided my own it still didn't work.

Support technology has a long way to go to really feel like support at times. I wished I could just pick up the phone like the old days. But that doesn't help you here...

The software is sold and managed with a contract number. There is a contract administrator, a subscription administrator and finally the software administrator (going from memory here). If you aren't one of those you won't be able to submit anything regardless. If you are then things have gone awry (obviously they have anyway), try submitting an email to the subscription team to chase down the issue. You could also track down the phone number for licensing and work it backward that way.

What I should have said at the top, contact your reseller to work this through too. Of the many things that resellers do or can do, helping you with your licensing and support issues is one that many are quite good at.

Good luck!

Unfortunately, the days of Revit customer support team winning international business excellence award (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/item?siteID=123112&id=4411047&linkID=7771003) are long gone.
