I am trying to put in some spot elevations on my framing plans but I am unable to put them on my gluelam beams that I have in there. I can, and it recognizes, all other beams and framing on the framing plan that can have an spot dimension attached to it. Also I can put the spot elevation in a 3d view but it wont recognize the gluelams in plan at all. Tried moving cut planes, view planes etc with no joy. Any ideas?
Thanks

Are you using Model Graphics Style - Wireframe? Spot dimension tool doesn't work on surfaces with wireframe active. If not, then is the glulam within the primary range of your View Range?

Steve, thought of the wireframe also and tried it with hidden line and it didnt work there either. One of the things that confuses me is that I have rafters on top of the gluelam and it recognizes them all from the eave to the ridge.
What do you mean in the "primary" range of my view range?
Thanks
