Arrow text notes

How do iI make and arow text note but without the text? when i cancel the text note before placing the text the arrow desappears too.

Steve i download your null leader and i loaded it into my project but i dont know how use it do i need to do something else?

It is a drafting symbol, Click DRAFTING then choose SYMBOL, grab the null leader family from the list, then pick the number of leaders you want and finally place...tweak...good to go?

Option B:

Create a text type with transparant text sized 1/256". You still have to put that "." in there, but at 1/256", who sees it? You can adjust and change the arrow features (like line weight and arrow head style) as you wish.
