Adding to Selection Sets without Removing Selections

I need the ability to add to a selection set using an inside or crossing window, using the CTRL key, without Revit unselecting objects that were previously selected.

Currently, if you have a group of items selected, you can add to the selection by using the CTRL key, and individually picking items. If you attempt to add to a seletion with a window, selected items will be removed from the set.

Had this problem several times today. Much needed.

Agree completely, the selection method in Revit is far too basic. Even things like filters could do with a bit more - ie not just "walls" - but wall types individually would be nice.
